February 24: Sikkim, Singbel: Cleanliness Drive and Tree Plantation.
Tree Plantation Drive Held in Singbel (Sikkim) Singbel, February 24, 2013
The Sant Nirankari Mission Singbel branch, East
Sikkim planted plants in and around the Singbel village on February 24, 2013 in
the presence of Nirankari saints accompanied by Ex-Sarpanch Shri H.B. Chettri on
the auspicious occasion of birthday of His Holiness Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh
Ji Maharaj, under the special campaign of Tree Plantation by the Sant Nirankari
Charitable Foundation.
A team of 50 saints headed by the branch Mukhi
Shri Hom Prasad Adhikari marched in a rally from Adarsh Vidhya Mandir (AVM) to
Pipaldara with placards having the slogans like ‘save trees and save world’,
‘cleanliness is next to godliness’, ‘religion unites never divides’, ‘green city
clean city’, ‘save trees and save world’, etc.
After the awareness rally, the team performed
bulk cleanliness work in the premises of a newly established private school
named Adarsh Vidhya Mandir (AVM), Singbel.
